I have been digging through the haynes manual about bleeding the clutch, because i just got some new synthetic dot3 to put in, and it doesn't help at all.
I have also been searching through the (4) pages of people asking the question, but no one answers them.
So where is the bleed hole? I know the bleeder valve is on the clutch release cylinder right above the fitting for the hydraulic fluid line.
But i have no idea what they mean, it would help if someone could snap a picture for me, it would be much appreciated!!!!!!
and i think also if someone were to take a photo it would benefit anyone who ever searches the forum for bleeding the clutch!
One less post like mine
Thanks alot!
.. i really mean it!

bump, since i got new posts for the month.
I'm still curious where the bleed hole is.
Any help would be much appreciated just because i checked the dip stick and there is metal pieces on it, and that's not good.

what motor do you have? on the 2.4L it is on the front side of the trans( towards the radiator). basically its right behind your starter on the trans. it should be a little black piece with the valve on it. i can get a pic tomorrow if you still need it

Do you need a special attachment to get the fluid out?? Becuase it is right next to the line coming from the filler. Right?
Thank you so much for the direction!

the way I changed my clutch fluid is,
1. Remove the clutch Reservoir top, find/buy a small hose that will fit snug onto the bleeder valve,
2. Next run the other end of the small hose into a bottle with clutch fluid in it as well (enough clutch fluid to submerge the other end of the small hose.)
3. Have some one press the clutch completely down then open the bleeder valve using a box end wrench. Fluid should exit once the small amount of fluid exits close the bleeder valve and repeat the process until all old fluid is drained BUT remember to watch the reservoir you don't want to to go dry or you'll suck air into the lines so keep an eye on it as your doing this.
4. After I closed the valve back I poured more fluid in and repeated the process until I was pumping new fluid into the bottle rather than the old dark fluid that originally was exiting into the bottle.
5. After you drained all old fluid out, Place cap back on and pump the clutch pedal it should feel better than it did before.
**Note** Also during the draining process don't get scared if the clutch pedal doesn't return on its own just bring it back up by hand and follow through with the rest of the process. i hope this is what you were looking for.

so many times I have done this bro search these forums and everyone is such a "god" and "Genius" on this site but they can't help out with these simple questions and majority of the time i end up figuring it out MY self and then I make sure I post it on the org or ecotec forum so people don't go through my head aches as well.
