manual window trouble

Hey guys,

just wondering about my window. I have a 2 door with manual windows. In the past couple of days i have noticed that while rolling down the drivers window it goes about a 1/3 of the way down then gets really hard to roll then goes easy again and back to hard to roll down until the window is down all the way. Now when it comes to rolling the window up there is no problem.. goes up nice and easy. Any help on this would be great.... i don't know if its the window coming out of the track, or maybe the regulator or something.

U what u may need to do is remove the door panel and grease the window mechanisms with some white lithium grease or liquid wrench or pb blaster.I have to grease the window stuff on my old stuff every couple yrs pull the panel and grease with the (white lithium grease) sold at napa in a small tub and it does the job for manual windows.Mine normally get tight in cold weather up or down and this normally addresses the problem. That's the best I can do for the issue at hand.Btw my pu does the same mostly going down more so than up and greasing it in the fall of the yr helps in cold azz temps or freezing that is.Hope this helps.Just grease all the parts that push the glass up or down NOT the seals and it should fix the issue.
