Ok.
I'm not sure what I did.. but I'm having a weird(it sounds bad) sound happening.
I'm still a newbie of driving a straight so bare with me here...
We all know what it sounds like when your clutch slips, and the car jerks.
Well theres a sound it makes now when that happens.
IE; I was coming home this morning, and I was turning and I didn't shift down far enough coming out of the curve and my clutch slipped,
But in addition to the jerking and loss of power, it made a weird sound.
It sounded like a cross between the pop a car makes when it backfires and You know those metal lids on like baby food?
If you press the middle of the lid down, it "pops" back up?
The clutch is only like 3 months old.
For the first week or so I was learning how to drive it and I slipped the clutch alot.
But I haven't has the clutch slip really since then.
Maybe four or five times since then.
It still runs fine, the only time it happens is like I said, if the clutch slips.
It does the same thing it always does, just now it "pops"

i managed to burn a brand new clutch when the transmission was stuck in second gear and i drove it 2 miles to the repair shop like that, no poping sound though
Well I don't think I've worn out the clutch, because it doesn't slip unless you miss a gear, or don't start in 1st right.
Just now it has this popping sound, and I've noticed you have to push in the clutch and let go again to get it to catch.
And sometimes it hesitates to come out of gear.

Josh,
I suspect something with the hydraulic clutch, maybe the slave cylinder on the clutch. The whole business you described with the pushing the clutch in twice and hesitating coming out of gear leads me to suspect the clutch slave cylinder. It's like the slave cylinder isn't getting enough or holding enough hydraulic pressure to work properly.
When the new clutch was installed, was a new slave cylinder installed? Have you inspected your clutch master cylinder? (The little plastic one by the brake master cylinder.) Is it empty, or near empty? Is there oil on the ground under where you normally park at night? (If your car leaks oil, it's hard to distinguish motor oil from hydraulic oil.)
Long story short, I'd look at the hydraulic system associated with the clutch.

All the fluids look fine.
Would the fluid pressure/levels cause that popping sound?
As of late I haven't had any of the slipping problems, but I still get that popping sound if I miss a gear.

Do you have a way to record the sound? (e.g. MP3 player with mic or laptop and a mic etc.)

I don't, my friend does.. I'll see if I can't borrow it.
I don't like trying to make my clutch slip lol
But I'll see what I can do.
