Hello all !


THis is GM related, but not quite J-BOdy.

my 96 Buick Regal haS BEEN HAVING NO START ISSUES....

NO crank, NO turn over, nothing (batt is fine no worries on that). Ill have to sit in my car turning the key for 5 to 20 minutes trying to get it to start.


Ill sit their in my car, sometimes it starts, sometimes it doesn't. I noticed though while driving that my Security light has been coming on and off, SO I am assuming my problem lies their,

-I have replaced the old starter, so this item can not be the cause of the issue. I have heard it is possibly just the VATS system acting up, maybe the little chip on the key, or something gone awful wrong with the key cylinder... so something...


ANy ideas would be great !.
