Hey guys currently, as stated car is misfiring. I have changed all sensors, got new spark plugs, and spark plugs wires. coil pack and etc. car is still misfiring. please help me out.
When youre spark plugs were changed, Did they have any kind of corrosion on them?. Could have a gone bad ecu not functioning properly.
I had the same problem and turns out I need a new cpu and all works fine now
Does your car have an Ignition Control Module, that the coils attach to, (I.C.M.) ot have you changed/checked that already?

That's exactly what my 2002 did last year. I had changed the plugs, wires, measured the coils and verified output by reversing the wires coming from the coil to the plugs (just plug the plug wires into the opposite terminal on the coil to see if the misfire moves or stays on the same cylinder). Since I still had no change, I figured it MUST be fuel related - so I changed the injector - and still NO difference. I then finally did a compression check - readings were 180, 180, 75, 180. I had a burnt exhaust valve on #3 - valve guide was so worn that it had nearly 1/8" play side-side. Incredibly this had not caused any oil consumption.
Before swapping any more parts - try the compression check. I wasn't happy to see my results, but it would have saved me some money if I had done it earlier. I just didn't think that "modern" engines would develop these kind of problems early on with proper maintenance (only 175,000km).
Just my .02.

ok, i will. and yes my 1996 2.2 does have a I.C.M where the coils hook up too
