I have a 2000 pontiac sunfire a couple of days ago i had the abs, trac, brake and the service light all turn on. What can be wrong?

Agreed--or if the code stays on, scan it and go from there. Sounds like it has something to do with the ABS system, otherwise.

The battery is new. I also had it scan and one of the codes said Lost ECBM and another code that came out was p1626-theft deterrent system-fuel enable. When i turn the steering wheel they turn off when i center the wheel they turn back on.

sounds like one of the abs sensors has gone..... this would also trigger your traction light

Scroll, in the link, to the T.S.B.'s # 00966 and 00966B.

There is a jumper harness available from GM to fix this problem, you may have to visit a dealer for the full text of the T.S.B.

I think it's a splice in repair, turning the wheel to gain or lose the problem is the clue.

I had that problem a while ago with the ABS light always on. I had the car scanned to diagnose the problem. It turned out it was a bad ABS sensor on one of the wheels.

I spent money trying to find out what it was and it turn out to be a something that i had bought to install a stereo. I just disconnected and the abs ,brake light turn off and i plug it back and they turn on so i had to take it off
