Hi guys. Been up here with the same question before but still didn't solved the prob. Maybe somebody can give an advise this time.
1) The problem is that engine starts and stalls now after I disconnected the battery and took it off for a charge yesterday.
2) There was a stalling problem previously but in a little different way.
Look, how this was before - engine started up great. RPMs were about 1.2k when in neutral. But when Air Conditioner was turned on, RPMs were jumping up and down and I had feeling engine could stall, but it hardly kept working. When AC was switched off, it returned to constant and normal again. I took the car to repair shop and they charged me about 90$ for labor.
They disconnected the AC compressor they told it gives some failure so it is disconnected now and car should run fine. Ok, I drove away and the car kept going normal for some time, since I hit the dog. Then it was for a body repair....out of order for 3 months!!!
2 days ago I got it back from body shop and the old problem appeared again - engine stalls when driving. By hitting the accelerator it torques immediately, keeps going while on in gear, but when I press a clutch to shift gears or press brakes to stop a car stalls and all panel lights and interior light comes on. So I should release the clutch to jump start engine while the car moves.
Can anyone tell, please, why is this happening? Why the engine stalls when driven?
Many thanks in advance!
Hi
it could be the A/C compressor is seized/binding, if it is connected.
Did the body shop reconnect the A/C compressor again, because they found the connector "hanging around"?--or did you tell them, in advance, about the disconnection ?
My A/C compressor once seized and I had to disconnect it, to prevent a thrown belt/stalling.
It can really load the engine.

I didn't tell to body shop about disconnected AC compressor and I have doubt if they took a look to connect it. They do not dig too deep usualy, just making their job, thats all. They even did not disconnected battery since all radio settings and clock was like before, I suppose.
