I just noticed that my odometer shows the mileage just fine..but it also had little speckles of the same brightness as the numbers of the mileage all around it. I searched and didn't find anything about this also it reminds of what older cellphone would do in the cold but i've never seen my car do this before.
Am I looking at replacing this soon? Thanks for any insight in my problem.

Just an update it got a little warmer out today and most of the weird spots disappeared.
