Hey I just moved here from michigan for college. I bought a 98 cavalier from an auto auction for 400 bucks. I dont think they origional owner put a muffler on the exaust. I just got pulled over on account of my exaust being too loud for florida state law. any ideas? can I buy a resignator tip or do you think I have to buy the whole muffler too. Unfortunatly I cant work on my car at my apartment or else they fine you like 400 bucks. Also, kinda unnessecary but I have one of those stupid pro street stickers over the front windshield on the top, anyone know an easy way to get these off? I have to take that off too. Thanks you guys a bunch!

Since you sound kind of unsure, the first thing I would do is go and look under the car and see what is actually there. It's not like a stock muffler is expensive, so it's probably a good idea to try and make sure you have one. Paying someone to install should easily be cheaper than paying that $400 fine.
