Richie, have you considered swapping the GM engine and parts that you do have for
the Mopar things that you need ?....
That's the only logical thing to attempt.....
what would be the fun in that lol

If you're just looking for fun, go for it ! Dream on.....
If you're really intending to finish the job, forget it.
Besides calculating all the dimensions of where the mounts sit inside the engine bay on the cavy compared to the neon and where they are on the tranny. I don't know who else could help you on this, obviously this would be a first if accomplished, and practicality of this is very low. I know the cars could be considered somewhat similar but is there any specific reason onto why you are so attached to the cavy motor. Don't get me wrong i love my car more than anything i've ever worked for, but wouldn't it seem more reasonable to figure a way to drop an SRT-4 motor in there or something.
I don't know man seems like a lot of work for a little amount of benefit, but to each his own and the more props to ya if you actually accomplish this. Good Luck and i don't mean that sarcastically either.
well you know how hard it would be to just strait up trade the parts... i meen it might be possible dont get me rong but i already thought it out andi dont see any one buy ing all the parts for what i would want for them.. always get screwed on selling stuff.. i figured i had all i needed and hardest part would be welding motor mounts which did seem that bad then i keep thinking of different idea after idea and probably getting a srt4 motor swap would be easier but i couldnt sell every thing i got an afford all the srt4 stuff

Richie, in all sincerity I wish to name your project : "EDPM"
It simply stands for "Every Damn Problem Multiplied".....
is gambling allowed on this site? if so ive got my wager ready.
if you need to come here for basic ideas on the swap then you dont have what it takes to do it. you have no idea what youre getting yourself into. thats not dreaming....thats a nightmare. WAKE UP!!!!
ya but i was also told if i try to do it in a 95 to 99 style cavalier ill be running in to all the same problems so whats the difference realy???
