So far I have replaced the plugs , wires, fuel filter and had an oil change done
Next up will be the serpentine belt followed by the blower relay as soon as I pick that up
Is it normal for the 2.2 to drop rpms while at idle. After I replaced the plugs the computer seemed to take a few minutes to adjust to the new plugs making me think it was going to start backfiring or something , as the cylinders seems to be firing weirdly, and then it smoothed out and is stable.
My car after the plugs were installed idled at about 600 rpm ,but every so often the rpm would drop to about 500 and then rising back to 600. If thats not normal for the car , where should I be looking next.
For people who have changed their own serpentine belts , do you have a particular method of hanging the belt before threading it through all the different pulleys. I know the hood of the engine has a map of the pulleys , but no particular order in which to do it , unless I need my glasses changed.
