Header Gasket Problems.....

I have the Tsudo 4-2-1 Header and it is installed. After running it for about 1 day, the gasket where is connects from 4 to 2 blew. Does anyone know where i can get one these that will not blow? I know the one that it came with was cheap. Another question... Does anyone know where i can get a complete build book or something similar for the 2.2 ecotec Cavalier?

gm has the complete build book. as for the gasket, your best bet is to go to your favorite parts store when they're not busy and try to have them match it up.

For almost any hard-to-find gasket there are many varieties of gasket making material
available from the better auto supply stores to enable making your own.

To get a near perfect transfer onto the material, coat the original mating surface with
prussian blue. See this:

Exacto knives with different blades are a big help.

So you're talking about the gasket that sits between the manifold and the head? If you used the cork one, I would definitely go out and buy a stock metal one. I've always used OEM gaskets--with my headers, turbo manifold, etc. Never had a problem. But yes--the cork they come with is junk

I'm talking about the one that connects from 4 to 2. not the manifold one.
