how much fuel mileage can i expect to lose with the tcc solenoid unplugged? i have a 95 cavalier with 2.2 and 3 spd....thanks

Are you talking about the torque convertor clutch solenoid? i personally wouldn't do it.
I think he is talking about the lock up converter on a 3 speed. Depends on how much highway driing, or running at 50+ MPH you do. That is where the big affects are seen.

why? if its going bad and not releasing, it will cause the engine to stall when you come to a stop.

well most is highway driving. and yes i mean the torque convertor lockup, its been bad for awhile and i havent had money to fix the sucker....yeah it seems to stall out at the most inconvienient times too lol
