My daughters 01 Sunfire 2.2 is giving me fits. Acceleration up about 1/2 throttle the car surges. From 1/2 throttle to wide open it runs fine. I have replaced the fuel filter, pump, plugs, wires, coils and checked the tps. It seems to get a little better after you drive it a while. Anyone have any ideas????

Try fuel injector cleaner
TPS sensor?
I had a car do that, then it would just pin and stay wide open. Dangerous. Also, is it a manual or auto?
