could that effect it at all. heres whats going on.

under slow acceleration like normal stop and go driving everything is fine. heavy acceleration (either from a stop or a roll) and there is a severe lag at first then it will slowly gain speed til around 4500 rpms then it will seem to bog down then the rpms will drop to about 3500 and acceleration stops. once you let off the gas it will shiftand continue on.

car had sat for about two weeks with about a half tank of gas. was backed into a spot on a very slight grade so the engine was higher than the rear of the car.

motor is the ohv. I did not do the work as I know nothing about this kind of stuff. any ideas will be appreciated.

anyone have any help. also does not seem to rev over 4300 at all no matter what. any help?
