97 to 95 cavy wiring for tranny

im doing the 97 motor and tranny (4speed auto) swap to 95 (witch was 3speed auto) my ? is what do i need from the 97 to make it work? the computer and the wire harness? can i just unplug it and plug it in to the 95 (the plug by the brake cylinder)? please help
