I have a 99 Z24 with 150k on the 2.4L motor. The problem I have is with the amount of fuel being consumed for no reason. It does not seem right for a little car to eat that much gas and I try to keep my rpm in the middle, not to low, not to high. I can literally see the needle going down and whenever I put 10 dollars in, it barely gives me a qaurter. A 20KM trip will result in the needle going down half way. What can be the problem? And please tell me how you get for 10-20 dollars of gas with the price in 90-99 cents a L thanks.
Try filling your tank

BTW: This is my Sig.
Putting $10 in and the needle moving only a little has nothing to do with the amount of gas being consumed. That has everything to do with the fact that gas is just too dang expensive these days.
Do the following:
1.) Fill tank completely
2.) Reset trip odometer
3.) Drive till you are close to E
4.) Fill tank completely again
5.) Divide the miles driven by the gallons put back in
6.) Post your mileage
Once your actual mileage is known, we may be able to give some advice and/or suggestions.
Try not to double post threads like this man....
btw I posted on the other thread trying to help.
