Hey guys,

I just bought a 5 speed 99 Z24. I'm having the hesitation issue many people have at acceleration. I thought it was my o2 sensors because when I unplug the precat o2, the car doesn't hesistate. As soon as I plug it back in, the car hesitates in neutral if I punch it and it stalls out if I try to take off.


Here is what has been replaced.

Both o2s
Fuel Fiters
Spark Plugs (Delco Platinums)

What do you guys think?

It's just wierd how it runs fine without the o2s plugged in.

My cars doing the same thing, maybee I should unplug the 2nd O2 and see what happens.

The only thing I can think of is that the computer is getting a reading that the cat isn't working for some reason, and trying to compinsate causing it to run bad. Maybee unplugging it makes the car just think the O2 is bad and since it doesn't have a signal to work with, fiqures screw it and just runs the way it thinks it should.

Thats the only thing I can think of right now.
