well i didnt know where to put this, but i figured that this would be a good place.

ok, story is i wanted a flip flop trunk but it was a piece of crap kit from ebay and i just ended up not doing anything with it. no though my hinge are all f***ed up. I searched around in the forums but all i could find was leaking problem, and people not knowing how to adjust their latches or their torsion bars. I havent really taken a good hard look at the hinges for r&r, but my question is has anyone swapped these out and are they either welded in or riveted in? the reason being was that i was gonna go to the junkyard and try to pick up a set. any info on the subject is appreciated.

im not 100% sure on this, but it might help.

i think they have to be unbolted from the top, remove the rear parcel shelf and there should be two bolts on each side. the brackets that hold them on hold the trunk rods too.
