clicking when engine is shut off

on my cavy when i kill the engine i hear a weird clicking noise for a couple secs coming from the engine bay, is this bad? im wanting to sell it and im afraid the buyer will wonder so i figure i best fix it.

mine does the same thing, dunno what it is but it's done it since new.

I'm pretty sure its the IAC or Idle Air Control valve resetting. its normal. if you don't hear it, then its bad.

could be just the exhaust contracting too.

Mine has recently developed a clicking in the engine bay in the same situation, but it sounds like something rotating and slowing coming to rest (with a click each revolution). I think it might be related to the A/C, since it seems like I'd been using it whenever the noise happens.

probably the ac lines releasing pressure..
