i gotta code P0440 for my evap system.
gas cap is tight and seals well.
replaced the evap purge solenoid, and the code still came back after about 2 days.
does anybody know if there are any tsb's avaliable about this?
the only other option i can think of would be a smoke test but i dont wanna spend the money.
any help is greatly appreciated.
Have the Same problem, Evap p0440.. replaced purge solenoid.. purge canister vent.. gas cap.. carcoal canister is next.. no leaks in hoses... uhhg!!!!!
