Speedo problems (slow reaction)
Tuesday, June 05, 2007 7:18 PM
My speedo just started acting funny , basicly it reacting really slow, for exzample, i can floor it and I know ill hit 40 mph before my auto trans shifts but the speedo will be at 30 or 35 then i come to a complet stop and while im sitting there im watching the speedo , and still waiting for it to finally reach zzero. Has this happened to any one and its not the vss(vehicle speed sensor) because i replaced it yesterday and its still reacting slow.

I thought it was because the CPU tells the speedo what to do, so you get an average speed over time instead of an absolute speed. I am going to hook up my GPS again and find out how fast or not fast I am going like I did in my Civic, when I realized it read 5 too fast.
