So my friend is going to buy his brothers 96 cavi and he said that the coil pack is bad on it. It misfires alot and has had a tune up (Just plugs and wires) does anyone know if it is a easy thing to fix? I never herd of a coil pack!? if so does anyone have a picture or can tell me where it is located. he is only buying it for $800 so why not buy it right! Please help!

Teknik, the coil pack is what the other end of the spark plug wires connect to, just follow them from the plugs in the head to the rear side of motor, and you will find it , cost on it should be around 80.00 bucks gm, part number i show for it is 10472401, hope this helps. depending on condition, 800.00 sounds like a good price to me.
