Has anyone seen a head look like this? This is the reason my car wouldnt start. There was no coolant in my oil or anything. I guess it just wasnt building up enough compression. Also its missing a chunk right by the water jacket for the coolant.

Also whats the difference between the heads that have egr on them? They look exactly the same to me

WOW, thats a pretty nasty looking cyl head, Must have had a hd gasket gone for awhile.Maybe try and use a wire brush on a electric drill, Might be able to clean it up. Or might have to get a new remanfactured cyl hd from the auto parts store.
