In the 2003 Cavalier, there is a big plastic piece obstructing my access to the headlamps. It has several plastic rivets holding it in place. How do I remove them without breaking them? Do I need any special tools or will some kitchen utensils do the trick? Is it even possible to remove them without breaking them?

I'm guessing your talking about your radiator cover. I'd just pull on it til they pop out, they don't tend to break too easily but there is a tool for them but I can't remember the name.

umm dont just tug on em, theres a center piece in the middle of the clip, you take the center out first then the outer pops right out, u can use a flat head screw driver to just pry the center up or a fork with one of the prongs bent out or just use needle nose plier an pul the center out, once you get the middle part out the outter will pop right out
Cut the heads off. It comes right off.

Ah, I got 'em out with a flat screwdriver. Certainly annoying to get out, but being that Retarded Auto does not have the right size replacement rivets, I have to do with a couple missing. Apparently, another serviceman (GM Dealer Mechanic?) broke one too.
