Hey! First thing, don't tell me to take the car to the dealer, I did twice in 2 differents places and without a check engine light on, they're good at nothing... One place told me they couldn't do anything without a code, the other place changed my ICM and at least tried some stuff!!!
Problem :
- Lack of power (not that noticeable on dd purpose, but I got from 15.13-15.60 to mid 16 on the 1/4 mile!!!)
- Freaking CEL flashing when shifting 3rd to 4th at 6500!!! Sometimes it flash 2-3 times and in some case even longer (up to 10-12 times)
I still have the same modifications that I had in 2005, so there's no new parts that can cause that!

I had an AEM cold air, but sold it, this winter!!
The problem appeared during the winter of 05 or early in 06. Now here's the part where I'm going nut!! I changed the spark plugs, swapped the coils plate, ICM got replaced by the dealer, swapped injectors. With all that, I still have the same problem. This flashing CEL is pissing me off! Anyone heard of a similar problem? Normally a flashing cell is a misfire or something emissions related... I need to get the car tech2'd to see if there's any codes in history that could help me. I plan on running nitrous this summer, so I need to find the problem before!!! Could it be the first O2?? Fuel filter got changed like 13000km ago, my fuel pressure gauge is showing 56 at WOT! Any help would be sweet!! Thanks

You are right, flashing CEL means misfire. Mine lost power but a lot worse than yours did when my cat got plugged. but it seems to me that its still something to do with ignition.
