i swapped a set of 96 cavy doors onto my 04, wired everything up (my car had no options at all b.t.w.) now it all works except one little thing. the locks work fine if one switch is plugged in, if i plug both in it sounds as if there is not enough juice to lock or ulock the doors. any ideas? short? both switches work just not together, thanks

do you ever notice that the ones who talk the loudest have the least to talk about?
With one switch does it unlock and lock both doors? Or just the door with the switch? If both doors then it shouldn't be a problem with power. Where did you get your wiring harness from? Did you make it? Does it work the same no matter which switch you have connected?
I would first suspect you wired something wrong. Second think there might be a short in one or your switches or the harness. Last if you made the harness make sure you used large enough gauge wires. Other than that grounding issues can always cause oddball issues.
yes it locks both doors with one switch, i used the harness from the 96, no it dont matter which switch they both work fine. im starting to think it may just be a grounding out. thing is i traced the wires through the car and cant find any damage at all. oh and on the wiring diagram it calls for 2 ground wires off each switch, is that weird to you too? the switches didnt have a connector for both grounds so we added the connector in the switch.
Did you fix them?
Are they wired as per these diagrams?

not yet, havent really looked at em again. i got the diagrams from a dude on here and that is what was used to do it.
