Sunfire Headlight Wiring Woes
Sunday, April 01, 2007 12:55 PM
Wow...I am really starting to get fed up with my wiring harness...no low beams now...high beams work as normal....drls work but the drl light will flicker once in a while, during normal driving.

The past few days I have been driving with my high beams and switching them off to activate the drl's whenever I have had to dim them...went to a junk yard yesterday and decided to grab a headlight wiring harness from a sunfire sedan(98-99) unplugged it from the plug under the battery...there was a few pigtails cut off it but that was ok I spliced them back on...but what gets me is there is no wiring for the DRL relay.

Well, I plugged the new harness in...same problem...no lows....so I went back to my original harness and started to replace wiring that had any scrapes or breaks in it...still nothing....and yes I have checked the bulbs and yes i have changed the relay and the light switch with known working ones. Does anyone have any other ideas to try.... I also did the drl disable by cutting the wire behind cluster....

I have come to halt and dont know what else to do....
