Got the alt (200A) installed and while taking the old alt off it had this black metal bracket that connected to the engine block and @!#$ but I didnt put it back on as I heard it wasnt needed(Not the actual alt bracket on the belt side, this is some black bracket on the positive side) and turned the car on and now the whole bish is jerking, whole engine and transmission is jerking and is really bad on idle, can def feel it in the car, the check engine light is now on and blinking, and when Im going up and incline the car just slows waaaaaay down. Like on the interstate I cant get above 50-60 when going up a hill. Now I know my mufflers going out(or the catalytic converter as I can hear it) but this wouldnt cause all this would it? Any ideas?
