well i just replaced my fuel pump in my car....

work that was done:

- new fuel pump and sending unit (only sold together)
- new fuel filter
- installation of both

GRAND TOTAL:::: $700 CDN

i figured that wasnt too bad since most people i have talked to and read up on were saying about $1000 CDN



car seems to be running alot better now, im much happier. my car did however throw 2 different codes ( 3 in total but 2 were the same). the first one was an engine slightly lean. the second (and third too) was a EVAP leak small. we bassed the EVAP leak to either something that just happend after the install or me getting gas the same night and not having the cap on tight eneough. the lean engine we are bassing on either lack of initial fuel pressure right after the install or the EVAP leak.

anyways, the codes were cleared last night and they have not come back on. so, so far so good!

well since my last post i havent even had a pending code appear, so i think im in the clear for the CEL problems i was having before.

all seems good so far.
