Hey guys

My car is 99 z, my taillight turn singnal was gone. So I bought new bulbs (3057) to replace. After I took out the bulb, I discovered the socket where the bulb goes in is been burned, and the plastic is all molded together. It was not nice at all. Thank god it didn't catch on fire when i never noticed. Anyways, i orderd new socket to replace.

Just wondering anyone else has the same problem before?

And another question, does sylvania3157 bulbs also fit with the 3057 sockets? I was using 3157s before i don't know if that could cause the problem.

You ordered a new socket? From where? And how much? They have em at auto parts stores for like $5...

But, if I remember correctly, a 3157 has different wattage, and would not work correctly...

It costs me 14 bux from the dealership. I live in canada by the way, things are a bit more ripped off here
