98 Cavalier, 134K

Stupid question, why is my DRL dash light blinking when I release the parking brake but the lights never come on. Both the low beams and high beams are working on each side. I figured the relay was bad. Ordered a new one and tested. No luck. Same thing. I checked the fuses while I was in the fuse panel as well and they were all good. I cleaned the contacts just in case. Am I missing a relay somewhere? I thought about changing the hi beams but they are working just fine. Same with the low beams. I prefer not to cut the wire or disable the DRL dash light in anyway. Suggestions anyone?

There's another relay in the system called the isolation relay. Check that one too.

where would such relay be located?

I don't know exactly, I just saw it in the wiring diagram.
