my car in the morning when it is cold i need to give it a bit of gas to get it started but when you give it gas it fires right up any suggestions? thank you
Sounds like your IAC (intake air control) valve isn't working right. Not uncommon for those things to get very carbed up. They are basically the choke on EFI engines.

Glad it worked out for you! Yes, you can clean the IAC with throttle body cleaner, and scrub with an old toothbrush. It removes with two torx screws -- FAR easier to clean it off the car! Put it all back together and turn the key to just "ON" for a few seconds, 3 times to reset the pintle.
