My wife's '99 Cav's brakes have had it. The fronts are squealing like two piggies ready for slaughter. I've done brakes before, but never on a FWD small car.
From what I've gathered here, the calipers come off with two allen bolts, the caliper bracket with another two bolts.
What about the rotors? Do they just come off with a few taps from the BFH, or do I need to remove the bearings from the spindle?
Take the calipers off and rotors come right off, it may take a little coaxing with the BFH, but not normally. The caliper (and wheel) is what holds the rotor on. Brake jobs are easy on these...
