i have a CAI in my car.....but when i took the stock intake out, i wanted to rip the rest out, not just the box with the filter.....
when i put new bumper lights in the otherday, i noticed that theres a air inlet for that box....i was just wondering if its being used for anything else besides the intake....because i was thinking of riping it out for my summer project (making a air scoop under the car to take in colder air to the cai, and other engine parts....)
thanks

Air scoop under car will pull in water. That's bad.
You can pull the rest of the air intake out if your running something else. If your intake pulls from the engine bay it's a WAI, not a CAI.
i believe what your referring to is called the BONG,just take it out if your not using it,i need to take mine out as well

I was aware of the water issue, and because of that, i was planing on adding a part to capture the water, so it didnt rise up the pipes into the engine bay
