Well.. THings have gone awry with the cavy, the CEL came on again, this time it started FLASHING !, First the car was fine, in low rpms @ 5th gear it would bog for a few seconds on hard throttle at low rpms, then as soon as I get into town, my car completely bogs the hell out, and the CEL starts flashing.. Now when I throttle hard on the car it feels like it has no go at all, and the exaust sounds really raspy.. I mean ****ing hella raspy and loud..... The engine sounds like it is running fine though, a tad off, but nothing like a spun bearing....

Need any comments from anyone with a clue (tried unplugging the battery for 30 minutes.. nothing). I am also going to go bring it to get scanned tommrow morning.

i had same problems a couples years ago, it was because i was using bosch +4 at the time, i had misfires....
might wanna take a look at your engine codes.

MIsfire Cylinder 1. Coil pack = toast. replaced, car runs better then ever. LOCT !, thanks for the help !

hey i'm a newbie but any time you have your cel flashing on a obd2 system it means that your having a missfire you might want to get it scanned so you can figure out which cylinder is missfiring and go from there

coil pack was toast. thus no spark. thus cylinder = not firng. thus CEL flashing.
