Very good question, one I never thought to ask but concerns an issue that annoys me every day. I hope someone replies.

Did a quick search and managed to find a thread about it HERE. I'll try this sometime this weekend, probably Friday. If you want pictures I could try and get some for you.

hey James, if you get around to it, pics would be great. i dont know my way around interiors too well, at least not without breaking things. you could say that i have a heavy hand and am short on patience. so pics to help stop me from doing something involving me getting uneccesarily broken interior pieces would be great.

I'll snap some pics when I do it then. It is a 'vert so the interior is a bit different but should be similar.

My car may run 18s, but I can do your taxes in 10 seconds flat.
JBO lube - they would never have enough in stock and we'd never see RodimusPrime again

I think my issue is mainly with it being a 'vert and all the dust that gets in the car means that there's probably alot in the seat-belt tensioner as well.

Well, looks like I'm stalled until I can get that door-sill trim off. No matter what I do I can't get the screws out so I'm stuck until I can decide what to do.

Well, whoever did the screws must've either used lock-tite or they've just gotten stuck in there due to vibrations and dirt. I might have to wait til I get home so I can use my dad's impact/screwdriver (hit with hammer, turns the screw) to get it off. If not I'll get some new screws and drill them out one of these days.

hey bud, hopefully the cav is very similar to my 04 sunfire, start by taking out the rear seats, completly, not sure if you have 60/40 but its held in by clips at the sides and then slide out. Then remove the upper anchor cover for the s/b, then remove the hanger thing, the next hardest to do is remove the seat belt anchor, it has lock tight so make sure you have a snug torx bit and alot of leverage, its in there pretty tight. then just pull the piece off, i started from the back window and went down. Careful of the clips then i think thats it...
