jw if its any lighter beings its smaller than a 96-99 2.4 starter. also... any modifications ima hafta make to get it to work... or just bolt it on and done?
Smaller yes,, I have a 00 starter on my 99 motor.. No modifications I had to do to make it work..

Same bolt pattern for most GM L4 and V6 engine starters mid 90s up. Newer ones are slightly smaller and lighter.
