Well my right windshield wiper stopped working a while back so I tore the arms off and took a look. It seems that the right wiper arm has popped out of the track....well actuallty the ball out of the socket. I tried to put the damn thing back into the track but it doent want to seem to pop back in. It almost seems to be too loose and wont lock back in. I was thinking about drilling a hole down through the ball and socket and putting a bolt throught them since they do pivot freely. Does anyone else have any suggestions on how to fix this problem without buying a whole new wiper assembly. All help is appreciated. I can take some pictures later if anyone needs them.
Easy fix....drilled a hole driectly through the ball and socket and placed a small bolt to hold it together but with some play so it doesnt bind......good as new.
