At school i hooked up a Solice and a Modus from Snapon... There both the same only modus is more expensive, but it can do a whole lot more.

Anyone one of these OBD II code readers will do:

Unless you want to spend thousands of dollars on Tech2 GM scanner or Snap on one, In which does everything, I think one of those code scanners above will do youre needs.
