winter ignition tune up

well, ive been figuing its time for a tune up for my cav. the coil and wires are stock with close to 100,000 miles and a was wondering if these msd super coils would be worth buying as opposed to using just stock coils. is there any noticeable difference in them? i know that im not going to be getting any hp/tq out of them, im just looking for possibly a little better/more complete burn.

If the coils are still working leave them alone. Wires could use replacing. Same with plugs if they're old.

plugs got replaced with the rebuild, <10k miles ago. wires are stock... strangest thing.. on my 89, the coils were working fine one day, next day car wouldnt start... i happened to have my 96's engine on the stand, so i pulled the coils of of it, and put them on the 89 which promptly ran. so i took the coils back to advance (these were replacements i'd gotten about a year previous) and got new ones (limited lifetime warrenty parts ftw) and put them on the 96... i just dont feel like not having my car start again... idk.. maybe i'll wait till tax season...
