^^ I put airplane fuel in my cav and ran high 4's in the quarter. I don't see why it wouldn't work the other way around.

Depends on the climate you live in. If you live in an area that is quite warm year round, I'd use 10w30, not 10w40 (some automakers are voiding parts of warranties if you use 10w40)
If it is temperate or downright chilly, use 5w30.

4 bangers normally arent made for 10w40 oil
Dont get me wrong though, it can be used. But use caution!
