Thanx in advance....

First of all, Ive got a 1995, Cavalier, 2.2L, 3 speed, Automatic.

So heres the deal, my compressor died a couple of days ago, and im getting a pretty good deal for a new one for about $90. The thing is that it says "L4-w/5/8" Suction Port ONLY", when I asked the seller how did I know those measurements? he said:

"If both ports are the same size, then you have a 5/8th port. If the suction port is larger than the other, then this a/c compressor will not work for you."

So, I though there was only one compressor for my car, sould I buy it? Should I check the ports? Or, is all of this none sense?

I'm sorry if these are some dumb questions, but I know NOTHING about AC Compressors.

Its pretty hard to drive without an AC here in Puerto Rico.
