just scanned my 95 2.2 yesterday on a GM Tech 2 and I'm getting a 0031 - PRNDL
now wtf is that supposed to be!? "Park, Reverse, Netural, Drive, Low" is what I read it stands for, but that means nothing to me either. help would be a wonderful thing right now
Might mean the PRNDL switch is bad.

How about a little more explaination? wtf is a PRNDL switch? where is it? what do it do? Never heard of such a thing before in my life so I'm kinda loss on this one

I found that to as a matter of fact but it still makes no sence what-so-ever because my cause is a 5-speed not automatic.
But anyways I think it was an faulse alarm now becuase of a bad engine ground I found because I never got a light yet since I fixed that so hopefully I wont need to worry about it. But thanks for the help
If it's a 5sp then the switch that your clutch activates is the PRNDL switch. (Might be stuck in the position that shows the clutch is depressed?) Or be "bouncing" making/breaking contacts. Ground wire problem is a definate possibility.
