Hey guys/gals Ok i have a 1996 cavy 2.2 auto When i first bought the car used the abs light was on (no fuse?) The head lights didn't work (Rewired wrong) and there was 3 engine light codes I fixed two the 3rd one has to do with the emissons so i took a look on top of the throttle body at the plastic square and theres plastic hoses ....Well one was broken off and it lead to the back of the motor I went to 2 diffrent wreckers looking for the right part 96 2.2 and found it and did the install however i can find were the the port is for the tube to go to on the backside of the motor between the firewall its a tight fit to see ...I look in the haynes manual did a search on here nothing! Anyone replace this part?

Thanks

Best I can feel is that it winds down to about smack middle of the block, attached to some kind of juncture that also has a hose that leads to the evap canister, could be the reason for one of your codes, to! BTW, mine's a '96 2.2.

Yeah I'm thinking that as well ...Sooo stupid the way they set the system up think about it plastic hoses on top of a hot motor that go's under the T/B one go's left the other go right and one go's to the back every other tube(S) or metal....brake lines, fuel or rubber The guy that made this one up was thinking about money in parts....LOL hi parts deptment let me guess you need the whole unit tee hee that will be a arm and a leg.... I going to try and jack the front end up and see if i can see it bottom to top behind the motor and grab a flashlight ....not to see it better just to bash something if i don't! lol thanks Dart
