So i did a search but couldn't really find anything like this. My sunroof will open and close just fine for about 5 min. after that it will open only 3 inches and then close just fine. It has been like this since i bought the car. The person i bought the car from said it was the module, but i searched everywhere and couldn't find anything. So i thought that i would give up and ask. Any info. on what it could be and how to fix it is greatly appreciated. Thanks

I'm having the exact same issue. I can open/close my sunroof with my alarm remote, so I know the motor is good. I'm going to try replacing the module and see what happens

If you replace the module, can you kinda keep track of the steps you had to take and let me know. I think that may be the problem with mine as well.
