the car is about to hit 180 k so i am intending to do a full tune up soon. i recently replaced plugs, wires, fuel filter and air filter. i am going to replace tranny fluid and filter, oil and brakes, and maybe o2 sensors. anything else i need to worry about? i want my car to run to its best.
I'd do the coolant and a new thermostat while you're at it.
If your car has 180,000 then i would start looking at things like:
Tie rods
balljoints
Cv boots and Axels
suspension
rear brakes
rack and pinion assembly
wheel bearings and hub
I would try to see if everything is still working properly or of maybe there is some early signs of a replacement needed.
