Where can I find a 1-1/4" socket to fit the cap for the oil filter? I started my tech job and have done 2 ecotecs in one day, with a wrench

and I own an eco so thats all the more reason.
I know a regular socket(what I use at home) can fit it but I would prefer to just get the tool. Thanks!

Snap on and Matco sell a socket for the ecotec oil filters. It is 3/8 drive too.
1 1/4 at Sears think it was $9 for the socket.

Ditto on Sears/Craftsman. 1-1/4 may work, but 32 mm is the correct socket.

Yea, i know a 32 mm will work, thats what I have at home but I'd like something that doesnt have the hassle of the the regular socket

Check the classifieds if you can't find one. I have one for sale.
I work as a tech at a gm dealer (at least I was for the last 3 month) and I use this :
1" 1/4 with an extension and a 3/8 drive, I did a lot of eco's and it work perfect..... even on solstices
Try looking at a store that sells tools, it will be in the same section that sells sockets and ratchets.
