Hi, I have my car since february 05 but since the beginning of the season I'm having troubles with my rattlebox. First thing that happened is a CEL for the evap system (large leak) ended up it was the solenoid that was stuck open.... Once the "drag season" began I decided to try to get in the 14.9 like I was hoping since I changed my motor mounts and my crank pully... But it's not happening because of a nice missfire problem.... I got a P0300 (random missfire) at the beginning and then a P0171 (Fuel trim system lean). I changed the plugs... nothing changed. Tried another "coil pack".... still no change. The dealer put a brand new icm..... nothing, I'm still doing 16.6 & up (16.18 the best so far) I read a post that a guy had flashing cell and misfires and it was the injectors.... What could actually cause those 2 codes. I know the P0171 can be caused by an exhaust leak, but the tech didn't found one.... I'm tired about this situation the first dealer I got it to, didn't found anything (3 times my car got in this dealer) I tried another one, he changed the position of the spark plugs 1&3 in 2&4. He did this cause I had like 162 misfires on cyl 2 and 15 to 30 on the others cylinders, to see if the plugs were not the problem (if the massive misfires get in #3 instead we will know why... He changed the icm also... so I think I'm gonna stick with this dealer for a while since he's trying things instead of checking with the tech2 all the time and saying : probably your mods..... I didn't had those problems last year with the exact same mods (minus the lightened crank pully) If anyone have an idea it would be nice. I was thinking about getting a Nitrous Express wet kit, but I'll forget about that until the problem is fixed!!!!! Thanks!!!!
