Belt tensioner or another problem?

Hey guys, I just yesterday installed the b&m shiftplus on my 2.2l 2200 and have it running in setting 1...loving the shorter shift time and less bogging. Originally I had the auto intercepter but gave it to my sisters cavalier instead and it seems to be working so far. I may not have done the best job wiring the intercepter in my car in the first place, but sodder and shrink wrapped the b&m seems like a huge difference.

HERE'S the problem, when I had it in setting 2 to test it out, I noticed at any shift point when over 3000rpm I get a hideous squeek from what seems to be the serpentine belt passenger side of the car. The shift kicks very hard and the sound reminds me of cars on cold mornings with a worn belt..just a shorter squeel.

No I've not done any maintenance to the belt as I've had no reason to. It never squeels on cold mornings, isn't wearing and getting tattered around the edges, but it just hit 61k miles which is around when the manual recommends inspection & replacement.

The other noise the stronger shift brought about is a squeek from the rear suspension on both sides. It wasn't overbearing until now, but every shift seems to rock the car enough to make it cry out in pain...new shocks and struts all around as of early 2005, stock springs, stock strut mounts. I've read around and alot of people post replacing the mount removed the noise entirely. My uncle *insert big classic musclecar gearhead* claims a little lubrication should fix the problem, then again he only works on cars older than I am and suspension from that era isn't quite the same as now. Should I give his suggestion a try or just replace everything and hope for the best?
